This I Believe is based on Edward R.Murrow’s radio series in the 1950s. This I Believe is a collection of essays written by people expressing experiences that changed their lives. These life events have led them all to different beliefs that they didnt have before. This site will explore the background of This I Believe but also focuses on the book This I Believe II.

This I Believe was published in 2005 and it is an ongoing topic today. The public radio producer, Dan Gediman even travels to different places in order to discuss this book. There are many subdivisions on This I Believe that focus on more narrow topics such as: “Life Lessons”, “On Love”, “On Motherhood.” Thanks to technology, This I Believe podcasts are available on the internet (as opposed to the original radio show by Edward R. Murrow.)
