Heading into the Thanksgiving season . . .
November 9th, 2012

My vision for America might be naïve, but I would like to see less divisiveness and more searching for common ground. Governor Christie earned the respect of many when he refused to comment on the Presidential election during Superstorm Sandy. He embraced President Obama as a leader on the same team with the same goal: saving lives and helping the area recover. During the storm our leaders led.
That’s my vision for America—that our leaders will focus on bringing relief to Americans who are suffering. And Americans are suffering, at the Jersey Shore and across our land. In my vision for America, our leaders will adopt the mindset of first responders, not party loyalists.
