This blog is designed to encourage folks to explore the outdoor world, especially our campus and nearby — and I am hoping it can grow into something useful to my students and to interested others.

I teach Writing About Nature and several other W1 (writing-intensive) courses at Stockton and also several natural history courses — including Stockton’s Natural World (my freshman seminar), Ornithology, and The Pine Barrens.
