A common failure of Literature essays is poor physical formatting. Often students hand in papers that look amateurish, unplanned, and just plain ugly. By using the header and footer options available in word processors, by choosing an appropriate font, and by using page numbers, essays appear far more authoritative. You should strive for an appropriate, tasteful format for every essay you write. Here are sample formats.
